Goal: $50,000

Prior to the onset of the pandemic, our school was in excellent financial standing, and we had saved up enough funds to begin to look at purchasing our own property that would become the future home to CEL. The financial impact of the pandemic however has since jeopardized our goal and we are in need of your support to help us keep the dream alive.

Purchasing our own building will allow us to grow, expand our programming, and help us to continue to serve the children of our greater Glens Falls community for generations to come.

My three children have all attended CEL for multiple years. As a clinical social worker it was important for me to choose a preschool program that focused on the social & emotional development of their students as well as provide an age appropriate curriculum for them to learn through play. In all three classrooms they were provided with fun activities that helped them develop an array of skills as well as form strong friendships. We absolutely love CEL. We felt right at home from the first day we entered the building. The classrooms are perfectly set up to be age appropriate and comfortable for our littles. The activities in the classroom provide our little one with new and exciting experiences on a regular basis. She loves to come home and tell us about songs they sing, stories read at circle time, and crafts they are working on. Class sizes seem to range from 8-10, which allows for the two teachers in each room to give individualized attention to the kiddos. They spend time each day on the playground or in the “movement room.” We are so grateful for the emphasis that is placed on growing their creativity, confidence, and independence. Most importantly our little one comes home happy and excited to tell me about her day.

CEL was the starting point of education and friendship for both my children. Julie and the teachers are incredibly caring and supportive for all the families. They helped create a love of learning and community in both my children. Neither of mine cried when we left them at drop off; instead, both were always eager to run and play and learn. It was at pickup when they had meltdowns because they did not want to leave their classrooms. I will forever be grateful for the staff at CEL.
