Julie is beginning her fourth school year as Director at CEL. Following her return to the area from Massachusetts, she had been teaching in the community. She holds a Masters Degree in Early Childhood Education from Eastern Nazarene College in Massachusetts and a BA in Sociology from Plattsburgh State.

Christie has been a part of CEL for 9 years as both a parent and teacher. She holds a Master’s Degree in Social Work from Columbia University and a BA in Psychology from Syracuse University. She is a teacher in the Pre-K program with Valerie Santerre.

Valerie has been with CEL for 11 years. She holds an Associates Degree in Early Childhood Education from Hudson Valley and has over 30 years experience. Valerie is a teacher in the Pre-K program with Christie Sokol.

Joelle Normandin- Teacher

Joelle has been involved at CEL for on and off over the past 20+ years as both a teacher and a parent. Joelle holds a BS in Education from the University of Connecticut. She is a teacher in the Guided Learners program with Tina Stone.

This is Tina’s 2nd year with CEL. Tina is a teacher in the Guided Learners program with Joelle Normandin.

Kerry is a 12 year veteran teacher in our program. Her twins attended CEL and she is a member of our Board of Directors. Kerry holds a BS in Elementary Education from the State University at Oneonta. She is a teacher in the Independent Learners program with Jodie Davidson and Nicole Marsh.

Jodie has returned to CEL as a teacher in the Independent Learners Room with Kerry Woodworth and Nicole Marsh.
